Your domain name (your-domain.com) directs visitors to your home page on the Internet. It can also be used as part of your e-mail address. For example: sales@your-domain.com.
Domain names are the familiar, easy to remember names for computers on the Internet (such as AUROINFO.COM) when you run a domain name search. No two parties can hold the same domain name simultaneously, yours is completely unique. They correspond to a series of numbers called Internet Protocol numbers (IP numbers) that serve as routing addresses on the Internet. Domain names are used generally as a convenient way of locating information and reaching others on the Internet.
Top2. What are valid characters for a domain name and how long can it be?
Valid characters include letters, numbers, and hyphens. A hyphen may not begin or end a domain name. Spaces and special characters are not permitted in a domain name.
For example:
- auroinfo.com (valid)
- auro-info.com (valid)
- -Auroinfo.com (not valid)
- auro&%in.com (not valid)

Top11. Someone else has registered my company's name as a .Com domain name. What is the process for resolving my complaint?
All ICANN-accredited Registrars follow a uniform dispute resolution policy. TopAUROINFO.COM strives to maintain a 100% network and server uptime service level. This uptime percentage is a monthly figure, and does not include any scheduled hardware/software upgrades, natural calamity etc. Natural calamity; include fire, flood, tornado, earthquake, fiber issues backbone peering point issues hard drive failure (faulty hardware is rare, but cannot be predicted nor avoided), as well as network floods, hacks, and attacks. If AUROINFO.COM fails to meet it's 100% uptime guarantee, and it is not due to one of the above reasons, partial downtime credits will be made available to each client, upon request, on a case by case basis. AUROINFO.COM does not credit a full month's service if we only have 99.4% uptime. "Partial refunds for partial downtime" is our standard policy.
Top20.What is your connectivity to the Internet?
Windows Network
We have the fastest network in the US- it's made up of gigabit fibers to XO, LEVEL3, and WILTEL- that's why we have such low ping times. These are the three fastest networks in Los Angeles.
Our Windows Servers network is connected throughout the world via OC192 internet backbone fiber. It operates several networks and interconnects networks via BGP4 via CISCO 12000 GSR and JUNIPER routers. It offers true multi-homed gigabit connectivity with gigabit connections to Level 3, Williams, Global Crossing, YIPES, and XO. It has fiber to the PAIX and EQUINIX peering fabric and is located at: 600 W. 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles - this is where AOL peers in LA and where you can cross connect to nearly any provider. It offers both quality network connectivity with private peering and also offers low cost and reliable network connectivity.

APC?, Tripp-Lite?, & Liebert? UPS Systems provide the power backups, along with Kohler? generator systems.
Top22.What if the server my website is on gets hacked or attacked?
Individually hacked websites are rare. If such occurs, usually they are a target for a reason; hate sites, pirated software, etc... AUROINFO.COM does not host such websites. If such material is found on a AUROINFO.COM server, it is deleted immediately and the user's account cancelled. Usually the target is the whole server itself. Hackers usually go after a server just to say that "they did", or to use the server to bounce off of to hack something more important. Rarely are any users' files on the server damaged, erased, or modified. For this reason, once a hacker is detected, a server can usually be cleaned up and the hacker locked back out within a matter of hours. At that time the server is restored to full security levels, as if the hack has never occurred. Most hackers get into a system thru valid user accounts. We recommend you use complicated passwords for your account. AUROINFO.COM strictly reviews all orders for new clients, to make sure they are legitimate. Unfortunately, some fake orders do get thru the system, and that is one way a hacker can gain initial access. AUROINFO.COM runs security checks on the servers daily, so even if a hacker does get in, they are found and dealt with quickly. Most hackers are not malicious, they are just playing or testing their abilities. If an individual attacks the whole Data Center, measures are in place to cut off such floods and attacks automatically at the backbone level and the router level. AUROINFO.COM also uses firewall technology to fend off most common methods of flooding and attacks to the network.
